Caribbean Cruise

The next stop was Roatan Island (Honduras). The history here reflects Mayan, Spanish, British and U.S. influences. European Pirates were common in the area, and 2 ship wrecks still remain visible in Mahogany Bay, a smaller bay within the larger Bay of Honduras.
Slowly backing into the dock

Here we rode the ONLY chairlift in the caribbean over to a white sand beach for a day of enjoying the sun and beautiful warm, turquoise water of the bay.
