Raining at Homer

July 15-18
We sat in Homer for a couple of days getting caught up on chores. It started raining and looks like rain for the next week at least. We decided to move onto Seward, hoping the weather would take a turn for the better, although with the forest fires, the rain is probably a welcome relief.

But we had good weather for a few days and here are a few pics.
The fishing hole as they call it is where we spent hours watching people fish and NO one caught anything. But they sure do try.
Our Eagle friends waiting for something good to eat. It is amazing how seeing an Eagle now is cool, but we see them each day. I will sure miss them when we get back home. They are spectacular to watch.
And finally a view out our back window at 11pm. Not a bad way to spend the evening.

  1. HOw come not all of these pictures enlarge? There's been quite a few that I wanted to see a bigger version of, but don't do anything when I click.... I would love to see those Eagels close-up! Awesome!
